I Can't Access a Feature I Expect to Have

Troubleshooting guide for when a Strova feature isn't visible or accessible to you.


If a feature you expect to use isn't showing up in Strova, one of these is usually the reason.

The Feature Requires a Higher Plan

Some features are only available on the Business plan:

  • Multiple teams — Startup is limited to one team
  • Readonly members — Business only
  • Project hours tracking — Business only, and only for multi-project teams

Fix: Check your current plan in Settings → Billing. If you need Business features, upgrade your plan.

The Feature Requires a Higher Role

Some features are only visible to certain roles:

Fix: Check your role in Team Management → Employees. If you need a higher role, ask your org owner or admin to update your permissions. See Understanding roles.

Your Account Is in a Readonly State

If your organization's trial has expired or the subscription lapsed, the account enters a readonly state where most features are disabled.

Fix: Go to Settings → Billing and reactivate your subscription. See What happens when your trial ends.

You're Not on the Right Team

Some features are team-scoped. Project hours tracking and the DSM Board are specific to teams. If you're not on the relevant team, you won't see its data.

Fix: Ask an admin to add you to the team in Team Management → Teams.

Still Can't Find It?

If none of the above applies, try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R). If the feature is still missing after that, contact Strova support with a description of what you're looking for and what you see instead.
