A Team Member Isn't Appearing on the DSM Board

Why a team member might be missing from the DSM Board and how to fix it.


If a team member isn't showing up on the DSM Board (even in the Pending section), one of the following is usually the cause.

They Haven't Accepted Their Invitation Yet

If the person was invited but hasn't clicked the invite link in their email, they're not yet an active org member and won't appear on the board.

Fix: Go to Team Management → Employees → Invitations and check if their invitation is still pending. Resend it if needed.

They're Not Added to This Team

Being a member of the organization doesn't automatically put someone on a team. They need to be explicitly added.

Fix: Go to Team Management → Teams → [Team Name] and check the member list. If they're not there, click Add Member and select them.

Today Is Not a Working Day for Them

If the member has a personal schedule override that excludes today (e.g. they work Monday–Thursday and today is Friday), they won't appear as Pending.

Fix: Check with the member or review their profile in the admin view. If it's a configuration error, ask them to update their personal schedule overrides.

They Were Marked On Leave

If a team lead marked them on leave today, they appear in the On Leave section of the board, not in Pending.

Fix: Scroll down to the On Leave section of today's board. If it was marked in error, the team lead can undo it.

They're a Readonly Member

Readonly members don't submit updates and appear only in a viewer capacity — they're not listed in the Pending section.

The Wrong Date is Selected

Make sure the date selector on the board shows today. If you've navigated to a past date, switch back to today.
