I Missed a Day — Can I Still Submit?

Yes — here's how to submit a retroactive update for a day you missed, and what to expect for your scores.

Yes, you can always submit an update for a past date. Strova doesn't close off past days.

How to Submit for a Missed Day

  1. Go to Daily Updates in the sidebar.
  2. Use the date selector near the top of the page to navigate to the date you missed.
  3. Click Start Update to begin the AI conversation for that date.
  4. Complete the update and click Post Update.

Your update will appear on the DSM Board for that date and be included in your weekly report data.

See Submitting updates for a past date for more detail.

What About My Timeliness Score?

Retroactive submissions are automatically marked Late since the cutoff has long passed. This will affect your timeliness score for that day — there's no way to change it retroactively.

However, your Task Completion, Planning Quality, and Blocker Communication scores are evaluated normally based on what you write, so the rest of your scores are unaffected.

Were You Actually on Leave?

If you missed the day because you were on leave, sick, or on a holiday — and you don't want a "late" mark on your record — ask your team lead to mark you as on leave for that date instead. This excludes the day from scoring entirely.

See Marking members as on leave.

Will My Manager See That I Missed?

The DSM Board shows historical dates, so your manager can see that no update was posted on the day in question. Submitting retroactively adds the update to the record — it's better than leaving a gap entirely.
